Associate Attorney
Shigufa joined Odell Law, PLC in 2025 as an Associate Attorney, where she is committed to advocating for employees in wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, and wage-and-hour matters. She brings a client-centered approach to every case, with a strong focus on protecting workers’ rights and holding employers accountable.
Before joining Odell Law, Shigufa developed a solid foundation in employment law through hands-on experience with wage-and-hour class actions at a boutique firm and employment civil rights enforcement at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. During law school, she represented clients in Loyola’s Immigration Justice Clinic, clerked for the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles – Worker’s Rights Team, and was an active member of the Public Interest Law Foundation and National Lawyer’s Guild. Outside of her legal practice, Shigufa enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones and her two cats.
